DF Mesh Merino is a base layer series made from Yama to Michi's original fabric that overcomes to a high degree the drawbacks of conventional 100% merino wool, such as its slow drying time, stickiness when wet, and heat retention. While maintaining the benefits of wool, such as its comfortable fit and its deodorizing and moisture-regulating properties, the two-layer (DF = Double Face) mesh structure absorbs sweat and dries quickly, preventing heat from building up.When layered with a shell, it keeps you warm, and even when you sweat, the point contact reduces discomfort, making it suitable for active use in high-intensity activities such as trail running and fastpacking. The slim fit takes advantage of the highly elastic fabric, which allows for easy movement, and keeps sweat from escaping from the skin.
