The double-layer (DF = Double Face) mesh structure with a hydrophobic finish that repels water from the skin and a hydrophilic finish that adsorbs water to the surface reduces the discomfort of sweat and can be used actively not only for hiking but also for high-intensity activities such as trail running and fastpacking. While it has the natural benefits of wool, such as its comfortable feel and deodorizing and moisture-regulating properties, it is also highly breathable and does not trap heat. When layered with a shell, it retains body heat, and even if you sweat, the point contact reduces discomfort. It also dries faster than conventional wool, making it suitable for a variety of situations. The fabric is highly stretchable and able to move effortlessly even during intense movements, making the most of this property through the use of a slim fit pattern that traps sweat from the skin.
