Norrona is a Nordic outdoor brand founded in 1929 near Oslo, Norway. Founded by outdoor enthusiast Jørgen Jørgensen and his friends with the goal of creating equipment that could withstand the harsh Nordic environment, Norrona began with canvas backpacks and cotton clothing. Since then, the technology-driven brand has produced a number of innovative products, including tunnel tents, backpacks with padded hip belts, and Europe's first GORE-TEX jackets. Today, Norrona's products cover a wide range of categories, including skiing, snowboarding, alpine climbing, hiking, and mountain biking, offering highly waterproof, breathable, and durable hard shells, downwear combining high-quality goose down and synthetic fiber, and fleeces made with Polartec material. Representative series include "lofoten" for backcountry skiing, "lyngen" for alpine mountaineering, and the all-around "falketind."
