STATIC is an environmentally conscious outdoor brand founded in Japan in 2020. Its parent company, STATICBLOOM, imports international outdoor brands and handles eco-friendly solid fuels and waxes. The brand was founded with the desire to create mountain gear that minimizes environmental impact, from material selection to production and post-use. Under the brand's motto, "Choice for the Earth," the brand actively uses recycled materials, natural fibers, and materials that biodegrade in soil and water. It emphasizes functionality for general mountain activities, including mountaineering, trail running, and climbing. The brand is committed to reducing its environmental impact at the material level, using base layers made with natural fibers like merino wool and Tencel, unique wool fabrics that do not use chlorine or resins for shrink-proofing, and double-russell fleece construction to reduce microplastic emissions. Signature series include the lightweight fleece "ALL ELEVATION," a base layer line primarily made with natural fibers, and the upcycling project "STATIC | Tsugi," which recycles cutting waste through weaving.
