The Yokozawa Alnico Cube is a magnet-resistant device that can be used with Yokozawa Teppan and burners with pipe-type grates (pipe diameter 6mm or less), such as the SOTO ST-310 and Stormbreaker. It secures the Teppan with a magnet, preventing it from shifting during cooking. The magnet is an Alnico magnet, which is the most heat-resistant of all magnet types, retaining its magnetism up to approximately 450°C. It also boasts corrosion resistance and top-class strength (resistance to cracking), making it ideal for outdoor use. Yokozawa Alnico magnets are suitable for use in high temperatures. Their main components are aluminum (Al), nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), and iron, with cobalt and nickel being the next most prevalent components after iron. Their only drawback is their relatively high cost. They are made of expensive materials and are specially designed and manufactured. This is a cast magnet called AlNiCo (Alnico) = Al+Ni+Co.
