This technical base layer is designed for expeditions with long periods of activity and high levels of exertion, and for high altitudes where temperatures and weather conditions change rapidly. The fabric has a double-knit construction, with a dry layer using water-repellent yarn on the skin side, and an absorbent layer on the surface that quickly wicks away sweat and dries. Even when you sweat, the dry layer on the skin side quickly absorbs and transfers moisture to the fabric surface through the dot-like connecting surface, promoting drying.
