The Zephyr Jacket is a lightweight, stretchy, and wind-resistant softshell jacket. Rab's proprietary "Matrix SWS" and "Matrix DWS" materials are applied to specific areas of the jacket to provide superior mobility and abrasion resistance. The primary "Matrix SWS" material is 86% polyester and 14% spandex, providing UPF 50+ sun protection, quick-drying, and odor resistance (Polygiene treatment). The thicker and more durable "Matrix DWS" material is placed on the shoulders and upper arms to provide resistance to pack abrasion. In terms of functionality, it is equipped with a YKK zipper, internal flap, chin guard, cuffs with thumb loops, and mesh pockets. It is highly rated for its excellent breathability and movement tracking, making it ideal for mountain climbing and hiking in the summer, and as a mid-layer in the spring and fall.
