The cap we wanted to create was a cap for hikers. We wanted a cap that could be worn comfortably even in Japan's hot and humid summers, whether walking or sleeping. We wanted to block the harsh sunlight. It shouldn't be easily blown away by strong winds on ridges. The brim shouldn't get in the way when you want to see the scenery clearly. We aimed for a cap that you would forget you were wearing while hiking... a cap that could become one with your body. The fabric is a next-generation Japanese-made fabric. All materials are stretchable, providing a comfortable fit. The sweatband also has fewer stitches for a better feel against the skin. Furthermore, while many Western hats feel shallow to Japanese people due to differences in head shape, we have designed this cap to be slightly deeper to fit Japanese head shapes comfortably. To prevent stuffiness even in hot weather, all parts except the front panel are made of mesh fabric. This reduces stuffiness and discomfort even in summer.
