The Primino Hybrid Alpine Hoodie enhances breathability and wicking capabilities with the fabric's own moisture-wicking properties, supplemented by lightweight PRIMINO mesh panels on the back and sides. It features an offset panel design to prevent chafing around the mouth and allows for effective ventilation through a wide opening. It comes with a hood, useful when wearing a helmet, and thumb loops to reinforce warmth at the wrists when it's chilly. Montane's proprietary base layer material, PRIMINO, combines the warmth, moisture absorption, and odor-resistant properties of natural wool with the wicking performance of PrimaLoft yarn, significantly enhancing quick-drying capabilities. It also excels in durability and easy maintenance required for outdoor use, and flatlock seams minimize discomfort at panel transitions, emphasizing comfort against the skin. Designed for active use, it can be worn year-round, not only for gentle spring treks but also as a shirt substitute for summer hikes and fast treks where sweat chilling is a concern. The 140 series is medium-thick and light. It can be used as a winter base layer, but is particularly suitable for three-season use from early spring to early autumn, and can be used for all active outdoor sports such as hiking, fast trekking, and climbing.
