Made with an updated, weather-resistant 100% nylon ripstop fabric, it's wind- and abrasion-resistant for impromptu activities. The streamlined fit allows for layering under base layers or lightweight mid-layers (this season's shoulders are slightly roomier), the revised hood is single-pull adjustable and doesn't pinch the ears, and the cords, fastenings and cuffs are sleek and lightweight. It features partially elasticated cuffs, a drawcord hem, and packs into a chest pocket with a reinforced carabiner loop for attaching a hydration pack. The shell and front zipper are DWR (durable water repellent) treated, and there are reflective logos on the left chest and back neck.
