The Leopard pack was developed based on a model created by Granite Gear advisors Justin "Trauma" Rictor and Shawn "Pepper" Foley for their trekking trip to the Himalayas. This VC46 features Granite Gear's lightweight and breathable VC suspension. The pack can be made even lighter by removing the lid and frame. Additionally, by replacing it with an Airbeam frame (sold separately) co-developed with Klymit, a company known for its unique product development, it is possible to increase the comfort range by 2kg while maintaining a lightweight design. The front is equipped with a zippered stretch pocket and a compression panel that can attach snowshoes and shovels. It is possible to attach a crampon holder (sold separately) and tool loops (sold separately), making it an ideal pack for minimalist backpackers and fast & light alpine climbers.
