Armless Sunglasses are a completely new type of sunglasses that were selected for the 2019 Backpacker EDITORS' CHOICE.
They are incredibly thin, with no side arms and a cord to secure them. When stored, they are only 4mm thick. The main body weighs only 21g! That alone is surprising, but there's more to it than that.

Unlike folding sunglasses, there is no problem even if you sit on them while they are in your pocket. The flexible acetate frame will not crack or break even if a steamroller runs over it. Feel free to throw them into the mesh pocket of your backpack without worrying.
■"Universal fit" that does not depend on the contours of the face.
The size can be easily adjusted with two beads on the cord. They are designed to fit regardless of face size or hair length, and despite being made by an overseas manufacturer, they are surprisingly comfortable even on flat Japanese faces, as the lenses do not fog up and do not shift at all when running or bending over dramatically. They are a strong ally for fast-paced mountain activities, effective for rafting and spring skiing.
