The fabric has been newly brushed up. The new material is 91% nylon and 9% polyester, and is a double weave with all-directional stretch. The new material has been changed from polyurethane to a polyester blend, which has resulted in a weight reduction of approximately 8g for the medium size. Many recent nylons have stretch properties, so this is no less stretchy. The biggest difference is the double weave. The surface of the new material looks almost the same as the old material, but the reverse side is woven with a textured double weave. The textured weave on the surface prevents the fabric from sticking to the skin and dries quickly. It feels smooth against the skin.
