The shorts version of the "Basic Hike Pants" is now available. These are perfect for summer. We believe they are comfortable shorts. While we aimed for a slightly slimmer silhouette with Sion stretch nylon material, the hips and hem are designed to allow for sufficient movement. We use a cotton-like washed nylon fabric. Washing is a processing method that gives woven or knitted fabrics a unique texture and softness. This processing is done by pre-dyeing the fibers, washing the fabric using special methods, or using unique techniques in the finishing process. Washing makes the fabric softer, improves its texture, and makes it wrinkle-resistant. Washing provides the following benefits: Improved comfort: The fabric becomes soft and pleasant to the touch, providing comfortable wear. Wrinkle resistance: The fabric surface becomes softer, making it less prone to wrinkles.
