The Megalite is Black Diamond's signature ultra-lightweight monopole shelter. Its floorless design accommodates up to four people, boasting a spacious 270cm x 270cm floor area and a height of 165cm. Since its 2021 renewal, the material has been changed to 30-denier hydrophobic polyester, which resists stretching even when wet and maintains its tension. It's fully seam-taped, has a water resistance of 1,500mm, and meets the CPAI-84 fire standard. It includes a carbon fiber center pole, DAC pegs, pole link converters, and reflective guy lines. It's quick to set up and suitable for a variety of activities, including trekking, kayak touring, skiing, and UL hiking. Combine it with the separately sold Megabug (inner mesh) for comfortable use even in insect-filled environments. This extremely lightweight and versatile shelter is perfect for both group and solo activities.
