This expansion pocket attaches to the shoulder harness of a backpack. It can be attached to the RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR One Mile backpack, as well as other manufacturers' backpacks that have 20mm wide tape. It has a total of three pockets: a main pocket, an inner pocket, and a mesh pocket. The outer fabric is made of 210D ROBIC Ripstop Nylon, a material that combines a basic square grid ripstop with ultra-high strength, high-strength ROBIC nylon 6. The fabric surface is treated with DWR (durable water repellent). The reverse side of the fabric is treated with a proprietary backside coating called UTS (Ultra Tear Strength). Unlike traditional PU coatings, UTS improves tear strength and provides excellent hydrolysis resistance, even in humid environments.
