This mountain outer shell is a symbol of THE NORTH FACE and has been improved since its introduction in 1985. It has been updated to achieve both flexibility and strength. The outer material is a 150 denier GORE-TEX products two-layer structure, and the lining is made of lightweight and strong ripstop nylon. Laser punching is applied to the shoulders and underarms of the lining to efficiently expel moisture from inside the garment. The roomy silhouette allows for easy movement even when worn over a mid-layer such as fleece. It can be used in a wide range of mountain activities in autumn and winter, from winter mountain climbing to snow sports.
