The Zephyr is designed for a variety of conditions. It allows for quick movement in cool weather without the need to adjust your layering as temperatures, slopes, and angles change. The Encapsil shell's versatility keeps the inside dry. Encapsil technology coats each fiber in a windproof, water-resistant polymer, repelling rain and preventing it from adhering to the fabric's surface. It also wicks moisture away from the body (see Encapsil technology description and illustration on page 14). It's ideal for warming up or quickly warming up, and when temperatures drop, it's effective over insulation. The double-slider zippered handwarmer pockets from underarm to waist are mesh-lined for ventilation, discreet during the day, and feature reflective tape for nighttime visibility. The cuffs are elastic, and the waist has a drawcord for one-handed adjustment. Material: 1.8 oz. tightly woven ripstop polyester with a finely woven Encapsil treatment. Lined with brushed polyester tricot.
