RawLow Mountain Works "Airy Hoodie" is an ultra-lightweight windshell developed with the concept of "something in between a softshell and a jacket," which can be worn like a shirt. While the base design is minimal, it features a roomy body width and an A-line silhouette that widens towards the hem, along with wide sleeves that curve from the elbow to the hem, achieving a unique balance and a relaxed fit. The hem is equipped with elastic and an adjuster, allowing it to be worn with a wide hem, or by cinching it tightly and tucking the hem inwards, the length can be shortened to create a rounded balloon silhouette. Although it appears to be a simple raglan sleeve, the pattern has been redesigned based on the tailoring techniques of classic balmacaan coats, combining complex inner and outer curves to create a three-dimensional silhouette. This design reduces the difficulty of raising arms, which is common in wide-bodied jackets, and particularly ensures a wide range of motion for the arms in both forward and backward directions. The diagonally placed pockets are designed with a large opening and capacity for smooth and direct access. The fabric is 100% ultra-thin 42g/m2 ripstop nylon, a sheer material with a slight transparency. It provides adequate wind protection while allowing air to pass through, offering breathability and quick-drying properties that prevent stuffiness even with continuous wear.
