They are made with a moisture-wicking, breathable, stretchy, lightweight softshell with a windproof film laminate on the front that repels moisture with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, and Capilene Thermal Weight grid panels behind the knees provide excellent breathability. The stretchy waist can be adjusted with a durable drawcord. They have a sporty, slim cut, and the gusseted zippered hems up to the knees fit over shoes. They feature zippered handwarmer pockets, a reflective logo on the left front thigh, and reflective icons on the lower back of both knees.
