The Arc Slim is a smaller, slimmer version of the Arc Blast. It is designed for shorter, faster hikes but retains the comfortable carry of our patent-pending Flexed Arc frame system. It has the same capacity as the 45L Arc Blast, excluding the pockets. The mesh center pocket and side water bottle pockets are optional. The ultralight Flex Arc carbon fiber frame keeps the pack stiff and transfers most of the weight to your hips instead of your shoulders. The frame parts and mesh back panel are easily removable and replaceable. The frame is curved to provide ventilation and keep the contents of the pack from pressing against your back. You can adjust the degree of the curve by tensioning the mesh back panel. The recommended arch is about 6cm, but adjust it to your liking. The frame has two horizontal support bars for added stability. The roll top closure (like a dry bag) keeps water out, and you can roll down the top when your load is reduced. All seams and connections are securely waterproofed with tape. Comfortable padded shoulder straps and a padded belt, 3/8 inch thick and 2.5 inches wide. The straps and belt have daisy chains for clipping small items. An adjustable sternum strap is also included. For a lighter, cleaner look, pockets are not included by default. You can add pockets to the bottom as desired. Side compression straps are made of non-stretch Dyneema cord to compress the volume of the pack. Elastic shock cord allows you to secure items to the outside of the pack. Removable webbing top strap allows you to secure additional items to the top of the pack. A central hydration port allows the drinking tube to be routed over either shoulder. The water bladder can be hung from an internal hanging loop or placed horizontally on top of your gear. With a capacity of 2,100 cubic inches / 35L, it provides enough space for short, fast trips and day hikes with an ultralight gear list.
