Since the introduction of Hillsound's Trail Crampons, it has become practical for lightweight hikers to actively use chain spikes. Even in the dead of winter, advanced UL hikers are actively using them. However, if the essential spikes are stored deep in your backpack, it creates psychological stress when retrieving them. Being able to retrieve chain spikes stress-free at any time is essential for responding to changes on the trail and ensuring safety. The UL Spike Case is perfectly sized for chain spikes, storing them flat. It fits neatly into the back pocket of UL packs and can be easily tucked into packing gaps. The buckle loop of the roll-top opening can be used as a handle to temporarily hang it from a backpack harness or sacoche shoulder strap, enhancing convenience for hikers to actively use their spikes. It can also be used to store crampons that have become popular recently, such as the BLUE ICE Harfang, where the front points and heel section are connected by fabric or cord and can be folded. The storage bags provided by the manufacturer are often made very small, requiring crampons to be folded precisely and stored carefully. This task becomes very difficult to perform with thick gloves in winter wind and snow. Open the spike case wide, store the crampons roughly, and quickly head to your destination (*Cannot be used for crampons that are not separable front and back). Three types of materials are available.
