To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the historic "NEWPORT" model, which debuted at the company's founding in 2003, this limited edition model was created in collaboration with American forest fire prevention icon Smokey Bear. Equipped with KEEN's signature "Toe Protection," this hybrid footwear offers the open feel of a sandal combined with the protective performance of a sneaker. ​ The upper is made of polyester webbing, which is resistant to water and dirt and has excellent waterproofing properties, while the lining is quick-drying. The EVA footbed is three-dimensionally molded to fit the shape of the sole of the foot, supporting long walks, and the laser-siped outsole provides excellent grip even on wet ground.
