Kamoshika's three-season sleeping bag is wide and roomy overall. The down used is UDD (Ultra Dry Down), a high-performance down that has been treated with an ultra-water-repellent finish that "allows moisture to pass through but does not absorb water." The down and water-repellent resin are bonded at an electronic level, creating a wall of tiny particles that prevents water molecules from penetrating. Compared to untreated down, it has excellent resilience and takes less time to expand, so it can quickly warm your body when chilled by the cold of the mountains.
