This legendary brand was launched by Tom Roos, who left Dana Design and went on to produce the RT and M series for Arc'teryx. He also launched a design company called FYI and produced Patagonia's Super Alpine series. The construction of the back is exactly the same as Mystery Ranch's Futura yoke system. Incidentally, this is a model from around 1997; Mystery Ranch was founded in 2000. I've heard various rumors about this, but there's no definite proof, so I'll leave it at that.
